陕西黄河集团有限公司（国营第786厂）是我国“一五”期间建设的156项重点工程之一，为国家一级保密单位。企业始建于1953年，是新中国第一部炮瞄雷达、第一部地空制导雷达研制生产单位。集团现有员工5000余人，其中国家级、省部级专家20余人，拥有加工设备和检测仪器仪表4800余台，具备大型高、精、尖电子技术武器装备及民用电子产品的开发、研制和生产能力。

黄河集团设有“相控阵实验室”、“微波技术集成中心”、“光伏工程研究中心”、“国家企业技术中心”等省部级实验室和“博士后创新基地”，先后承担了国家“863”计划项目、军队科技创新项目、国家“高新工程”项目、国家重点型号研制项目等；荣获国家级科技奖项57项，省部级科技奖项85项，科研成果362项，授权专利167项，知识产权288项，被空军机关确定为“空军新装备高技术人才培养基地”。
